2005 Gala - A Trip Around the World

Helping Austin named Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Texas as the 2005 fundraiser's recipient. This was our inaugural fundraiser and the start of an annual event that has grown 100% year after year since 2005. The event titled, "A Trip around the World", was hosted at Shoreline Grill, provided an variety of musical artists, featured cuisines from local ethnic restaurants, and a live auction. As a result from the money raised, Big Brothers Big Sisters was able to significantly increase the number of qualifying matches between youths and adult mentors from the previous year. We are very proud of this fact.
